Shipping

1. Delivery area:

   • We currently deliver to addresses in Austria. If you would like delivery to another country, please contact us before ordering.

2. Shipping costs:

   • Standard shipping (Austrian Post): € 6.00 per order.
   • Free shipping: for orders of € 70.00 or more, or with a free-shipping coupon.
   • Pick-up (“Mellys Creations Pick up”) at the address above during business hours: free of charge.
   • The shipping costs for your order are shown at checkout before you place your order.

3. Delivery time:

   • Orders are dispatched within 14 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receipt of payment. Please note that handmade items may require additional production time.

4. Order tracking:

   • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email.

5. Customs and duties:

   • For deliveries outside the European Union, any customs duties, taxes or fees charged by the destination country are not included in the price and shipping costs and are paid by the recipient.

Right of withdrawal

Withdraw from contract

If you are a consumer, you have the following statutory right of withdrawal:

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Melanie Zarzer – Mellys Creations, Wiener Straße 131, Gebäude D, 4020 Linz, Austria, phone +43 (0) 699 109 422 99, email office@mellyscreations.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://mellyscreations.com/withdraw-from-contract/ (the “Withdraw from contract” link in the footer of every page of this shop). If you use this online function, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by email) without delay, including information on the content of your withdrawal statement and the date and time of its receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us (Wiener Straße 131, Gebäude D, 4020 Linz, Austria) without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Please therefore handle the goods with care and pack them safely for the return.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods which are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised (§ 18 (1) 3 FAGG), for example custom orders and personalised pieces.

Legal guarantee

All goods are covered by the statutory legal guarantee of conformity (Gewährleistung). If an item did not conform to the contract when it was delivered (for example, it does not match the description or does not work as intended) and this becomes apparent within two years of delivery, you are entitled to free repair or free replacement and, in some cases, to a price reduction or a full reimbursement. We do not offer an additional commercial guarantee.

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us at office@mellyscreations.com as soon as possible, ideally with photos of the item and the packaging, so that we can resolve the issue quickly. This does not limit your statutory rights.
